.UK Domains
* On .UK domains there is a £10 + Vat transfer charge. This is levied by the UK Registry Nominet.org.uk. This is paid by the buyer on reciept of the transfer process.
* Whilst we wait for payment of a sale, we can point the .UK domains to a site/server of the buyer's choice.
* Once payment is cleared, we will initiate the online transfer process. We must receive payment in full before we begin the transfer process.
Non-.UK Domains Payment
* Other domains, such as COM, NET, ORG, BIZ, INFO, NAME, TV, CC etc., are governed by different regulations and conditions.
* Many of these domains are held at registrars where it is free to transfer the name between accounts, however some registrars charge a fee (for example Register.com charge $35) to transfer the domain to another entity. This will be described in the domain listing, or the enquirer/purchaser will be notified in due course.
* On all non-UK domains, the buyer will pay the transfer fee, if such a fee is applicable.
For UK Buyers:
Buyers in the UK can pay by any of the following methods:
* Direct Bank Transfer (preferred)
* Cheque / Postal Order
For Non-UK Buyers:
* Direct Bank Transfer / Wire Transfer only
Cancellation
Once payment has been received by BuyNames, sales cannot be reversed, except in extreme extenuating circumstances, and then it will be under the discretion of the Domain Director. Domain Sales are not governed by the UK Distance Selling regulations.
Default on Payment
* Should payment not be received once the buyer has confirmed they wish to proceed with the sale, the following will happen:
** If payment is not received within 7 days, the domains will be redirected back to our servers.
** If payment is not received within 14 days, the sale will be declared null and void.
* If a payment is not honoured for any reason, the buyer will be charged a £25 administration fee on top of any charges levied by the bank/payment service. In addition, if payment is not received within 7 working days following notification of this, the buyer will be barred from making any future purchases from us, and will also be notified to a debt collecting agency or the relevant legal agencies.
Invoices & Reciepts
* We will send a free PDF invoice/reciept to the buyer's email address if they so wish.
* If a hard-copy is required, a fee of £5 will be added to the final purchase price, to cover administration and mailing costs.
General
* We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notification. Please bookmark this page, and check back regularly. VAT is not applicable on these purchases.
